Chocolate Milkshake

As of lately, my absolute favorite afternoon-pick-me-up has been my own version of a Chocolate Milkshake. As a work-from-home Momma, something to wake me up or help create a 2nd wind in the afternoon is basically a must. I've put myself on a somewhat "limited" food protocol as of lately and so my choices in the afternoon have also become a tad "limited". I am putting this word in quotes, because for me - I still have an amazingly wide range of foods that I consume daily and love consuming, and am also feeling completely satiated after every meal. I don't feel limited in the foods that I eat, I only feel like a little extra creativity is necessary at times.

With that being said, here forth is the recipe for my daily drink!

2 cups Raw Milk - I like grass-fed jersey whole cow milk (full fat, never reduced). Goat's milk works great too, and always try to strive for completely unpasteurized for either one. If you would prefer to use a "nut mylk" - I do not recommend using boxed versions as they are more than likely made with tap water, sugar, and some sort of preserving additive or method.

2 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder

1 Tbsp either Cacao Nibs or Cacao Paste (would need to be chopped up)

2 Tbsp SurThrival Colostrum Powder

1 Tbsp Coconut Oil or Raw Grass-Fed Butter or Raw Grass-Fed Cream

2 tsp Roasted Maca Powder

1/2 tsp SurThrival Pine Pollen Powder

Pinch of Vanilla Powder if you have it

Sweeten with Stevia to taste - this is my sweetener of choice. If you have absolutely no issues with sugar of any kind, Maple Syrup or Honey would be great replacement for this.

Add all ingredients to a blender - our favorite is a VitaMix - blend starting on low, to high, and back to low again. I like to always blend on low for a few seconds at the end to de-froth the drink a bit. Otherwise you might end up with a big layer of airy foam on top, which might be your preference anyway!

Pour in your favorite fancy cup and enjoy slowly. :-) (If you drink too fast, a mild bloat may occur.)
