I've been making various versions of this recipe for years and it's still one of my go-to savory soup/beverage when I want something quick, nutritious, and easy to digest. This simple soup combines the health benefits of bone broth, raw butter, miso, and sea vegetables all in one glass.
Once a week a simmer a pot of bones and the remaining ingredients are always in stock, so this can truly be made in 5 minutes. I love to make this recipe after being out in the cold for long periods of time or in the afternoon if I want a little pick me up but don't want coffee or other stimulants.
You can get creative here, adding in vegetables like carrot, seasonings like curry, or make it a bit more dense by adding prepared Brazil nuts.
5 Minute Miso Soup
- Crumble the kelp then soak in the hot bone broth for 1-2 minutes.
- Combine all the ingredients then blend on high for 45 seconds.
- Pour in a mug and enjoy!
